I have to say that I miss giving my friends a clear night out on NYE by keeping an eye on their two boys and three dogs. They never came home in good enough shape for me to explain I clearly had a wilder night and more fun.

What?

Two boxer puppies + Rottweiler + two toddlers on full sugar rushes = a ripping evening ending with the dogs outlasting the kids by far.

Dannihilator 12-31-12 08:24 PM

wait 94.

Yes 93.

Hey ls, why are you using a Shimano chain with sRMA components? Of course that is going to suck.

No, not really. It works pretty well. I have shimano chains on 2 of 3 sram set ups. I think that 105 chain might have been prematurely worn out. I am going to give it another try tomorrow. Now that I know the 6600 chain will work. Then we will see.

Dannihilator 12-31-12 08:30 PM

Because sram chains are snap happy?

ls01 12-31-12 08:31 PM

Of course I would love to have another red chain for this bike but they're pretty steep

ls01 12-31-12 08:32 PM

Oh, I am using shimano chains because I am cheap. I had a couple left and didnt want to throw em out when I could use em.

miyata man 12-31-12 08:36 PM

Cheap has nothing to do with it. Pretty sure KMC makes chains that work with both and can be had for cheaper than either.

ls01 12-31-12 08:38 PM

I think kmc makes sram chains.

LAJ 12-31-12 08:40 PM

KMC from Ribble is the cheapest of all.

Come on, we're slowing down.

Looks like the parachute opened for you guys on your base jump off the fiscal cliff. Higher tax on the rich dudes agreed to.

Now where is the rest of the world going to find its entertainment?

Don't KMC make them all, including Shimano, but excepting Campy?

Rowan 12-31-12 08:54 PM

The new Addiction thread will be XIX... sort of nicely balanced.

miyata man 12-31-12 08:55 PM

It isn't so much who makes them but to what specs. Just you try using a last gen DA anything with anything. SRAM is kinda halfway in that regard and Campy......well Campy couldn't care less what anyone is doing as long as they are far removed.

My last post for the evening. I hope you guys can carry the baton to the end (or should that be pompom?).
