I better watch these recriminating requotes or the affable Mr. Jones might perform a hybrid google attack on my colorful re-imaginings.

Didn't anybody's ass/Ankle/mouth hurt last night?

BillyD 12-07-12 06:28 AM

Give 'em time.

RecceDG 12-07-12 06:47 AM

OW MY SPLEEN!

Actually no, my spleen is fine. I just like the word "spleen".

Spleen.

Mouth feels 100% better, actually. Time to go suffer in the basement.

Man, I miss Peter Forsberg. A little over a decade ago he played through a ruptured spleen and a spleenectomy (is that a word? surgeon?) finally ended his season. That event kicked off the birth of a few NTN screen names at the local sports watering hole.

Spleen. Spleen. Spleen. The word has lost all meaning.

16º this morning. Had the NyQuil sleep last night, felt like a hundred bucks this morning, yet I drove to work. Ride at lunch while the warm-weather weenies huddle in their cubes and plot Strava attacks based on wind conditions.

Ever hear of the dreaded "wandering spleen?"

datlas 12-07-12 07:09 AM

No horsing around today, kids. OK?

I lived in Denver when he did that. I had a friend who was at the Chop House after that playoff game. Forsberg passed out in his T-bone during the team dinner

Truth. I am sad that my hockey jerseys hang in my closet, yearning to be worm. But alas, the game is dying a slow and gruesome death. At least we have decent college hockey in this town.

GO TIGERS!

Rhododendron. Very fun sounding word.

datlas 12-07-12 07:34 AM

Supposedly one of the most beautiful SOUNDING word (but not smelling) in English is "diarrhea."

RT 12-07-12 07:38 AM

Underrated, classic show.

"Show"? That's from the movie Diner. Back when Mickey Rourke was mostly made of human parts.

When I say show, I mean movie show, not TV show. It's like some people say 'pop', some say 'soda'. I am a soda guy.
