I still like lowcel's tt bike. Although that ankle isn't very aero.

Further inspection might yield a Kamm tail profile at some yaw angles. A kammkle if you will.

Bike looks dangerous. Ankle looks even more dangerous. That looks like the kind of sprain/strain that should almost be casted for 4-6 weeks.

Bike related humor; not for those who require being humored. :)

Nope. A good foot/ankle ortho guy would surgerize most grade 3 ATF sprains nowadays. 6 week recovery time. When I saw that bruising, I strongly suspected complete disruption of the tendon.

I did not know that, I can't number the times I have had an ankle like that and did nothing except ace wrap. Why my ankles are so screwed. What is LC doing about it?

miyata man 12-10-12 05:54 AM

It says a lot that I walked to go get a cup of coffee and pastry this morning instead of riding. Good luck out there WhyFi. I'll save you the trouble of watching the news to find out it is glare ice and drifting snow. That's just the freeways they have been dumping salt on. Most everything else will be inviting cell phone videos of the idiocy.

I like humor and I like bikes.
Please elaborate.

AR-15 in the closet, with 14 loaded mags,
I'd just like to point out that I only carried 10 loaded mags in Afghanistan.

Rained all weekend so no riding for me. All I've done for a month is trainer rides. I'm 100 km away from breaking 7000 km in a year and not getting outside is killing me.

Nah, they look very happy via FB pics. They have been taking a lot of them lately together. I am happy for her.

I really don't need, or want a woman in my life right now. I just accepted the return of my old girlfriend, and I ran with it for these last few months. I was content with the way things were before. Either way, if this thing ends soon, or if it continues. She did do a lot of good for me on this last encounter. I probably would still be at my old dead end job working for peanuts. That's the big change, but I've done lots of little things to make myself a better person as well. Self improvement is a good thing, so I'll take the lessons I learned and move on if and when it is over.

As for the TT bikes seeing them all side by side makes it even harder. I am leaning towards buying another Cervelo however.

Impressions, photographs, Facebook all being wonderful barometers of what relationships are really like.

I'm wondering if you see the easy skip from the mistaken impression that you have some clue of what another's relationship is like to how your relationship is swung by the normal vicissitudes of life? Look at our friend above. Without probably many knowing there's a lot of bad stuff going on. Relationships are about perseverance, not some inane idea of people being perfect and beautiful. I promise you this; should you live long enough whomever you end up with will smell bad, they will wrinkle, their tits will sag, their posture will go to hell, and they will have hair growing in places magazines tell us it shouldn't.

That's what makes this even harder. I've seen this girl grow up. She isn't has hot as she used to be. I would of given her a 10/10 in her prime. She gained some weight in grad school, but I still find her attractive. I don't mind when she has morning breath. More importantly I accept her faults. Her depression, and all of that. I also think she may have a bit of a drinking problem. Through all of it, I accept her, and I want to be there for her. It may be the death of me, but I really care about her.

I have an air cast and I walked a block to work today. It hurts. :o

Thank you. One of these days I'll change my signature and have it link to the new one. :D

The thing is, she probably really isn't that attractive. It's never been about that either. I mean it helps, but we've always just had an unexplainable bond. It's always been deeper than beauty, or any of that.

Can I tag out? anyone?

I'm agreeing with you. I am perfectly content with her growing old, and ugly. I would like to preserver through life with her. You are correct as well on the fact that I hide all of this stuff well. Only the people in this thread, and my few closest friends have any idea. From my FB page everything appears fine.

Is it the Spring Break party wristband that makes it look young?
