You don't look as fat as some of the people here, so you have that going for you.

While I'm posting pics, anyone care to suggest a vintage for these lovely examples of European design? Found them on CL and the guy swears they are clinchers but that sidewall looks like a cotton casing.

What the hey, one more for good effect. I thought I had hit a wall trying to get this kit stateside but managed to find a promising lead within the company. I don't ever remember seeing a mannequin with cocked hips before now that I look at that pic. Sassy.

Am I the only one who is missing the back story on how "Miss Coasting" has gotten into bicycle tourism?

sbxx1985 01-03-13 08:48 PM

You look much like I thought you would. That's refreshing.

Buckwild just came on. Watching it to see how much my home is going to depreciate in the next 60 minutes.

Hey Fat Pants,

Have you any 2013 resolutions?

sbxx1985 01-03-13 09:07 PM

By the end of the month, my bike will achieve unparalleled levels of hotness.

Frame will go back to Paketa for internal routing.

SR EPS with KCNC C7 brakes
Enve 45mm tubulars
Enve stem, post, and bars
CK headset
Speedplays with titanium spindles, bowties, and bolts
KCNC skewers
Zipp cages
Pro4s
Aliante

I think this morning was the coldest commute I have ridden.

Very nice. I've heard that some people like having fancy bikes without a powermeter, just didn't think it was true until now. :p

LAJ 01-03-13 09:12 PM

Damn sbxx. That sounds awesome. Looking forward to the pics when done.

It will make it difficult to dial it up to 400W.

It'll take the next fifteen years to save for the Campy SRM. Ridiculously expensive and no Quarq compatible with EPS.

This will do for now.

That Koga kit is the bee's knees. Matches your helmet, too.

Won't a Rotor quarq with some sort of premium rings work? I think I have seen that with SR11. Is eps different?

Yeah, "Then I started pedalling really hard..." just doesn't have the same punch does it.

I was pretty much thinking the same thing.
