Sam is even sicker than we thought. Maybe 3 months. And the sad thing is he looks so healthy and happy at the moment. Vet is looking into oral chemotherapy (meds we can put in his food) but we both agree that if the side effects are nasty we won't go there.

It's a heart breaker, but we owe it to Sam to help him enjoy the time he has left with us, and to be brave enough to pull the plug before he suffers much. That will be the hardest part.

Ugh, I swear they put sleepy gas in the hvac system at the office, and I've had so much coffee today to combat it that my hands are shaking. So much for weaning myself off of caffeine. I'm gonna have to start all over when I get home.
