Irony.

What tended to annoy me was his posting/verbal diarrhea.

Also ironic.

The whole game was a facepalm.

But absent that inexcusable meltdown, Denver would have won.

I thought only the Bears could lose like that.

There were a lot of woulda, coulda, shoulda's in that game. No reason it should even have gotten to that point.

I put some eBay carbon cages on the new bike because they matchy matchy better than my tacx ones. They chucked a bottle. They suck.

That is why I took them off the old bike in the first place, surprisingly they did not get better while sitting in the parts bin. I'm chucking them.

I am a member of several other forums on various topics, from cars to cell phones to muscular dystrophy and Parkinson's. None of them are as loosely run as this board.
I maintain some degree of presence on dozens of boards, and have been participating in online discussion groups since USENET.

This board is, BY FAR, the most draconian board I have even encountered. My posts are ROUTINELY censored. The most hair-trigger mod team I have even encountered.

To call this board "loose" is frankly ludicrous.

It was 14C here today and I didn't ride because I'm still trying to sort out my damn car.

this reminds me of the first half iron mr. ts did with a barely used cheap seat mount bottle holder. (might have been an ebay purchase as well) 5 miles into the 56 mile bike ride, he went over a bump and lost *all* of the water bottles off his bike. this was before he got a bar mount bottle, i think there were just two in the seat holder, with an empty down tube holder to put a free bottle from a station. oddly enough, this happened right in front of his aunt's house. from the bottles strewn everywhere where it happened, apparently he wasn't the only victim of that bump.

he learned his lesson. if you lose all the fluids off your bike, fricking go back. he got behind enough in hydration during the ride that he was either dry heaving or barfing any fluids he did manage to take in for the whole 13 mile run. misery. he may have chucked that bottle holder too, or maybe modified it at least so it wouldn't eject bottles so easily.

we went to a new gym together this afternoon, first time using the new paid-for-by-big-brother-membership provided by my employer as a part of a new "wellness" program. this is a small place down the street from our house. we're debating how much he'll miss the pool if we cancel the membership to the Y which doesn't appear to be in the network. then we came home and worked in the basement, i started on a glass panel for a cheap bathroom cabinet i've been meaning to do for like, a year. (i think i took the door off the cabinet last winter when i took the glasswork class) mr. ts worked on the motor for the backup bike.

i asked him if it was ok if i used the glass grinder, since it makes some noise. i started grinding and realized it really wasn't that loud. as i was thinking about this, i was startled by the sound of the air compressor suddenly starting up to re-pressurize the tank, and i busted out laughing. it was as though it was saying "noise?? i'll show you noise!".

I didn't see where I told her to continue on. But somewhere you saw it. The accusations fly...I think you should report it, actually. Bad person I am. For shame.

Would love to spar with you, but one of the addiction commanders told me to let it go....Sorry. Maybe next time...Until the, you have a great sunshine filled day..

I can relate. Rode 40miles yesterday, and it hurt bad. I love that feeling. My how I miss it.

In the open letter paid for by The Sunday Times, David Walsh lays out 10 questions which he suggests Winfrey should ask.

1. Did you tell doctors at the Indiana University Hospital on October 27, 1996 that you had taken EPO, human growth hormone, cortisone, steroids and testosterone?

2. After returning from cancer, how did you justify putting banned drugs in your body?

3. Did you have any sympathy for those rivals determined to race clean?

4. Do you regret how you treated Betsy Andreu, your former masseuse Emma O'Reilly and Greg LeMond?

5. Do you admit that your friend Dr Michele Ferrari fully supported your team's doping?

6. Is it your intention to return the prize money you earned from September 1998 to July 2010?

7. Did you sue The Sunday Times to shut us up?

8. Was your failure to understand Floyd Landis the key to your downfall?

9. Do you accept lying to the cancer community was the greatest deception of all?

10. Why have you chosen Oprah Winfrey for your first interview as a banned athlete?

Not enough. There should be one more, the one that's really on everybody's mind:

11. With your cycling legend forever tarnished, will Pcad now surpass you in Road Cycling Lore & Legend?
