Nil. Not even a BCS bowl appearance in that stretch.

So idiotic. Just try to wrap your head around the fact that the team our oracle pollsters on high deemed as the #1 team in America was a 10-point underdog.

In what universe does this make any sense?

How is it idiotic, was just referring to having a computer determine who plays in what is dumb, and that any team should not need to be in a certain conference to have a fair shot at anything.. Never gave two hoots about college football, but it should have been Alabama vs Oregon. The right team won.

That's where I stand on this and as far as I will go.

College sports are even more irrelevant than road cycling.

rjones28 01-08-13 12:21 AM

Don't you find the shifter location a bit inconvenient with that riding position?

Naturally, we discuss it here.

The Merlin is attached in rando/century mode , followed by the old touring bike with trailer. There's also a fixie and an MTB but I can't find pix of them right now.

Not exactly a road bike but interesting nether-less. About 1948, French with 650b wheels & tyres. Now has a brooks to replace the Ideale with damaged rails.

Old bicycles suck. I used to ride them. Just thank your Fred Gods they invented clipless pedals, STI and CF, and STFU.

Thanks. Yeah I am pretty lucky to have her.

She is not a "tiger mom" although sometimes we joke about her being one. Luckily, our kids are pretty sharp.

Yes. The theatrical version we saw was phenomenal. We saw the movie recently too. The special effects etc. in the movie are obviously better than the play. But the musicality and singing in the play just blow the movie away.
