Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Anyway, I'll give her a call tomorrow after the group ride, late morning or early afternoon, see what happens. And of course, report.

"She used to be a 10, but I still love her even though she is now an 8"

The reference was made in the mock dialogue posted earlier, methinks by WhyFi.

Well, we were told that she was an 8.5/10... she's not pear-shaped, but 8-shaped, so I thought that was a good compromise.

I remembered the 8.5, but figured you rounded, much like she did.

I've dated girls one year older... I'd date the crap out of my swim coach, who's 40, but have no idea how to approach that tactfully. Wouldn't want to make that uncomfortable and need to drive much farther for swim practice.

And I don't acknowledge the prequels. I don't even have words for my utter lack of respect for that hack JJ Abrams who shouldn't be trusted to direct an elementary school play.

I've decided to go old school in the bottle cage department on the Team Marin. Steel is real. (along with a little bit of plastic)

Not for nothing, but @ 55 the riding is much less about racing and dick measuring than it is about physical and mental health.

When Addiction is your Big Support Group, you know you are pretty far gone. But it beats trying to talk to the Earth People.

You're obviously not obese but at least 80 % of patients I have with Venous disease are morbidly obese and the problem is resolved by weight loss. Ditto Diabetes, Esophageal reflux, Sleep apnea and hypertension.

Don't worry, there'll be more on this. And if straight-up *****ing is allowed, that's most of what goes on in my love life.
