Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bikes: 2015 Cannondale Evo Hi mod

You know how I know I made the right decision??? Because I find myself going out to look at my bike all night and when I'm inside and thinking about my bike I get butterflies and want to go back out and look at it. Happy

It doesn't hurt that the best performing wheels also look the best, hahaha.

that is true! It is so weird how much the Chris king hub noise grew on me. I noticed the C2 wheel had gotten a little louder on my shorter ride yesterday, but since these are broken in, they sound wicked loud. Jude said the carbon rim makes them sound louder also. Love it

Sram Red shifters would look pretty nice on there now that I have the red hubs.

A slightly up tilted nose helps you get on top of the gear when you are on the rivet.

The slightly lower rear help you drop you heal and push over top of the gear when you are slid back there for power.

YMMV

SO true. There's a very fine line between "accents" and "matchymatchy."

Come check out the SS/FG sub if you want fantastic examples of this, hahaha.

I'm not. nothing to worry about there. If I did any more red, it would be barely noticeable, like red ferrules. other than that It will remain a black and white bike.

Yeah... I'm gonna lace up some KinLin XC-279s to red hubs for my Cannondale now. Now I'm positive it will look good.

Lol, thanks Hunt man. I was gonna call you for a ride this weekend, but with it being Easter, I'm gonna be busy. We will get together for a ride soon though for sure! And dont worry, I just like to stand by the bike at the bike shop and have it make me look like I'm fast.

FSA stem and post would have all the red you need to match that up, any more than that would be overkill

I like the red hubs. Now you need to contact Planet-X and get those red parts back for your brakes

Yes!!!!!!!! I freaking LOVE the sound. They are so loud that when I ride in between buildings downtown I just coast and it echo's. Love the sound! I think the reason I didn't care for the Chris King hub sound on the H+S is because they weren't a consistent sound. They are on these enve's.

I did a nice ride this morning and they felt great. Made great time
