Had a great weekend ride wise. Never going back to 700x23 tires.

One of the reasons I was excited to get my bike done up with full 105 is now I can fit 25s on the back. Now running 25c GP4000S at 90/95. Might drop that by 5, but wanted to give it a go like this first. Even now, super comfy.

Oh good. That's the consensus.

I'm going to shower and go grocery shopping. Yes, that was critical to share with everyone.

How did it go?

I don't. I have more important pursuits to occupy my time . . . like posting here.

He kept going and then she heard a scraping noise coming from the back of the house. She went downstairs and confronted a guy trying to pry the window open with a plastic tent stake. He kept trying even after she was yelling at him and did not run until she came back to the window with a phone in her hand calling 911.

What kind of eff'd up idiot tries to break into a house in daylight, with a barking dog and someone home.... with a plastic tent stake? It's troubling and despite him not getting anything or doing any physical harm, I've lost some piece of mind.

I reviewed operation of the kitten with my wife this afternoon. Jeebus.

When you don't beat a team that matters away from home all season, it's a problem.

Need to schedule for next weekend; have to get my guy friends to get back to me about Saturday or not. But we're going out.

Or did you mean the shower and grocery shopping?

Dannihilator 03-17-13 09:01 PM

Since when has it become perfectly acceptable for joggers when in groups to cross roads without looking or stopping? Was on return trip home wasn't involved, but thought I was going to witness 6 people getting hit by a SUV that they ran right in front of.

I'm becoming a fan of 25c tires. I raced on Vittoria Diamonte Pro's in that size on Saturday because there was a mile of dirt per lap. They worked well.

You'll all be happy to know my arm is good enough that I can drive my car, and it just hit 301 miles so it's done with the prescribed break in.

Mr.TS keeps telling me he's going to make a weight lifting routine for me to start next weekend. I'm thinking that'll be a little early, but I'll see what the orthopod says on Tuesday.

The household joke of me asking him for something, and his reply of "what, is your arm broken?" has officially worn off its charm.

I can't even fathom how that could ever get old :)

Dear BF...it's been 30 days since my last ride. My excuse has been because it's been either windy or cold (below 60 degrees). During this time i have jogged but have lacked the need for speed. I rode today and I rode hard...all 25 miles. My legs hurt and it felt good. I'm ready to accept my penance.

LesterOfPuppets 03-17-13 09:41 PM

You are hereby sentenced to thirty days on a '73 Schwinn Varsity. Now go and sin no more.

that is too kind. While very heavy a Schwinn Varsity isn't a bad bike. He should be sentenced to 30 days on a denali.
