Man, that sucks - my REI dividend is about a 1/3 of what I thought it'd be.

While once frowned upon, now it's actually quite hip, so don't worry so much.

You and the guy in that other thread who complained about Di2 being too pricey should start Johnny Lunchpail Club.

Free schwag is better than paid schwag, however.

Correct.

Actually, real Schwag is always free, but for the purposes of the 41, the BF Holy See has allowed paid gear to be described as Schwag (BF Holy Edict XXIX). That fact that this seems to piss some people off is another BF Bonus.

And FWIW, there's an acute difference between complaining about something being too expensive and complaining about not having enough funds for something.

There's a reason that marketing targets new parents and new homeowners - we've got the double whammy right now. We should be in great shape when the kid's done with college, though.

Bugger.

Snowing... Predicting 2" or so. Looks fluffy and light. I'll have to see how well one handed shovel pushing works to clear 2 tracks.

If it weren't for needing to get to UPS to send out some packages, I'd just wait to see if it melts tomorrow.

RecceDG 03-18-13 08:23 AM

Running sucks.

Hey pcad, how much will you be selling that S2 frame for?

DG

Meanwhile, I only needed one blanket last night. Awesome. Not going to hit 70* next weekend though, unfortunately.

Go buy a Schwinn Debbie, and roll her around the block. Come back and tell us how your very first bike ride was. Then take the training wheels off.

Looks like a bargain, but it's no Cervelo.

I shouldn't need to, with a little patience. I'm one of them Obama Socialists - has anyone been getting their monthly redistribution checks? I'm still waiting on my first one of the year...

That's probably close. We're selling our house so the last month has been high stress. It's a lot more difficult to sell a house today than it was 12 years ago.
