Or, better yet, pedal power "generation".

No, no - even the pinched nasality is coming through, dead center of the sound stage.

I am on Vacation.

While I will likely check in on you all when doing uninteresting things like sitting in the airport, I will be gone for the next 11 days. In the meantime remember this
1) PCAD, you can bite me.
2) Whooshie, you are still a dumb oaf, and no cute dogs or gorgeous bike will change that.
3) VeloVol, enjoy the effin NIT. You will still lose to Kentucky
4) Jones, WhyFi--Hold down the fort for the Stooges

Curly

Try to get a tan.

On on BF could someone 'blog' about their experience of weeks of freely borrowing various wheelsets from a custom builder only to have someone suggest, "now that you know what you want, buy a stand and put it them together yourself instead of buying from them."

That would be nonlinearities in your tube amp.

I've got a solid state. You know what they say about assuming...

Aside - would you agree with the 'go with a thinner spoke on the NDS' approach?

I believe in Sapim CX-Ray's for every wheel.

LesterOfPuppets 03-19-13 08:38 PM

For some reason I have registered for a 12 mile TT. Think I might race the Free Spirit. Need to determine if I have to get a taller gear for such an undertaking...

With as many spokes as my fat ass needs, that's a lot of money on spokes. Maybe the next set.

The Madness, baby!

Double butted then, and I honestly don't think there is any type of advantage gained with a lighter spoke on the nds. But, weight isn't a concern for me either.

Those that suggest it say that it's about similar elongation (to the DS) under lighter tension, thus less likely unload and break. Sounds like it makes sense, just don't know how it works in practice.

National Champs to getting booted in the 1st round of the NIT in less than a year, hooray for consistency.

Recruiting "one-and-done" high school stars is not without its risks.

We'll need a race report.

Working on it. Have date set with marathon girl for Saturday, mini golf and food. She said "sounds great!". Now I just have to make it through three nasty days of work.

Actually also decided to assume crossfitter was joking about the cat/ dog thing, took her out Saturday, and we made out in the theater. Hasn't said anything that puts me off so far, and will see her again next weekend too, likely. Might even get laid. Who knows.

Velo Vol 03-19-13 09:13 PM

Isn't "Free Spirit" an '80s era Sears bike?

I've heard that as well, and I honestly don't know enough about the physics to say yes or no. It does sound good on paper.
