Joking aside, it is really odd that it didn't work. My homebrew (i forget the recipe because I haven't made it in so long) was by far the cleanest lube I have ever used. The cheapo lube I use now was bought for me from a supermarket and is awful. Immediately after a ride, the chain is completely black. I have even lubed and left to dry for 2 weeks and the first ride still produced black chain.

I used the stuff I wash paint brushes with. I want to do it here but I think keeping half used bottles of mineral spirits in apartments is dumb.

Shootout = good. Point for just getting to OT = bad.

I'm sure there is a grain of good intent with some logic in there, but I don't know of any other sports aside from NASCAR where a point is awarded for not winning.
