Fair enough. Since I have him on ignore maybe I'll start coming around. I don't spend much time on BF anymore though. Life, work, riding all get pretty firmly in the way of internet time.

Has your elbow healed well, gsteinb?

gsteinb 03-07-13 10:42 AM

It fell below the high 41 standards of excellence. It was starting to "circle the bowl" as we say behind the curtains. Quips and puns were getting stale and repetitive, etc.

Not so . . . nobody ever said he couldn't be named . . . that was "Miss shortcut's" invention.

Good lunch - scrambled eggs, black beans, salsa and corn tortillas. I only regret that I didn't gain an appreciation for meals like this until I was introduced to hangovers.

BillyD 03-07-13 10:52 AM

You mean brunch, don't you? It's only 10:50 there, isn't it?

I'm taking advantage of what is probably the last "cold snap" by enjoying homemade chicken and dumplings. MMMMmmmm... I love "cold weather food".

Something like that. Couldn't get on the trainer until a little after 9:00, I didn't want anything close to a full meal in my stomach, but I had to eat immediately after.

I might make one or two more hearty, cold weather meals before summer, but it's been a long winter and I'm over the comfort foods, root veggies, squash, etc.

They probably do it somehow in tennis.

Funny guy.

LesterOfPuppets 03-07-13 11:07 AM

Man, those hearty meals sound good. BUT, it's $1 sub day @ Jimmy John's here so you know that's what I'm having for lunch.

Considering how bad it sounded at the beginning, is that better than expected? Either way, it's good you're back on the bike.

Thanks. It doesn't really impact my day-to-day life much. Somethings I can't do. It's not strong. My days of lots of push ups have passed. It doesn't impact, much, riding. I noticed some stiffness after a very hard effort. But I can sprint, and climb so it's all good.

It's about what was expected. If I'm diligent I might get some more range of motion back, but after months and months of OT and stretching and braces I'm a bit burnt out on it.

I should arm wrestle him now before it gets stronger.

Amused not that you said cold but that you said it's the last time it will be cold.

patentcad 03-07-13 11:34 AM

It's snowing pretty good here now.
