Hey truckstop. Can you fit a bike in the back of your Abarth? That is an important question
They make a hitch mount and bike rack for the regular 500, but the exhaust is in the way on the Abarth. I'll give it a try and report back. Goal is to not need to take both wheels off, just the front. |

If you don't need room for a passenger, then I think yes. I haven't actually tried yet, but the back seats fold down and you can fold the passenger seat forward. Should work. We have the xterra with a bike rail in the back so I've never needed to use the Fiat.

I got a 58cm in the rental. It was tight and as I recall no room for a passenger, but it worked.

Pictures and everything. You really can get a lot of stuff back there with the seats down. I wish they folded flat, but close enough. Yes, I'm in Georgia, but I thought RU was a ways out from buying anything? Also, I'm finding that as a city car, the mpgs are sad compared to a normally aspirated one. All my errand running around town at best has it at 23.8. Strangely, it's better by 1mpg with the sport button on. |
The degree to which Saris Cycleops customer support rocks cannot be overstated. I'm having some issues with my old Joule 2.0 computer, which they already replaced after it was out of warranty once. Yesterday the head of customer service there offered to swap my malfunctioning Joule out for the newly designed $300+ GPS head unit - at no charge. Can't beat that. My Powertap hub needs a new freebody anyway, but the head unit was having a problem picking up the speed sensors on the other bikes. We tried everything, now we are both convinced it's a bad head unit.

And not prepared for 36 degrees.
It should be nice today--much better than it was earlier in the week. |

Its worse than that. I just lost my chrome browser to bing. I found an update and it has all kinds of junk attached to it that I didnt recognise at first. The worst part is it came with Bing and I cant get rid of it. I removed it and deleted everything That I down loaded, did a restart. still there, I did a restore, still there, I deleted chrome and reloaded it, still there. I am back to using IE. I am so pissed right now. |
I thought bing was Microsoft, not oracle
|
looks like I lost my spell check too.
