I'm way behind on lifetime bike purchases.

For lifetime, I have had 9 bikes over 42 years. That seems very controlled.

For lifetime I've only only had around 30 or so.

Are you liking the book?

I downloaded a sample and only got a couple pages in when it was my turn to drive. I pulled samples of a few other things, but so far so good. :thumb:

Now all I can think about is taking a nap... And wishing I'd worked a little harder on the pedal bike.

Lifetime bike total for me is 5. That includes two when I was a kid. Only one was not a Schwinn. :o

That Red Widow series on ABC is pretty good. It's like Breaking Bad Beyatch Edition. Plus Rhada Mitchell is so hot.

Her head is huge for her body.

You misspelled her name.

Most of the problem is photographic distortion, which would be less noticeable if she were not leaning forward with her head closer to the lens than the rest of her scrawny body.

The other problem is she's just scrawny.

But I repeat myself.

Don't most of Taiwanese have bigger heads (comparatively speaking)?

Rhada? I prefer Rhona (Mitra).

Are we seriously not past the fact this is Photoshopped? Look at her left hand. Do a Google search on Images for her name + Red widow. I don't see this picture anywhere.

Incorrect. There are other photos from that shoot, like this one -

coasting 03-08-13 01:42 PM

big head, man hands. real nice.

truckstop 03-08-13 01:45 PM

9 in nearly 38 years. Two when I was a kid. One I bought and left in Germany. One was a mountain bike that was a little too big so I sold it for a smaller size. Then there is the bianchi ss cx that i rescued from a trust fund gutter punk. And one I rode maybe 3 times before Mr. TS took it over and I got my current road bike.

All but the two road bikes were less than $400.

coasting 03-08-13 01:48 PM

ride more buy less. i read that somewhere. can't be on bf, can it?

truckstop 03-08-13 02:00 PM

I didn't even want the road bikes. I was blissfully unawares and happy with my crappy MTB. I wanted a new camera, was told "no" but that I should use that $1,200 to buy a bicycle.

So I did.

Velo Vol 03-08-13 02:01 PM

Think I had two bikes as a kid, a 10-speed I got as a teenager, and the one I ride now.

Shoot more, buy less.

LesterOfPuppets 03-08-13 02:31 PM

I guess I've only purchased two brand-new bikes as an adult:

1992 Bianchi Grizzly
1996 Mongoose IBOC Zero-G

I'll have to get back to you on lifetime total.

See my thread above regarding the origins of the term Fred.

I think Dr. Pcad has discovered the long lost Missing Link.
