I went and visited Dad for my first time today. I'm depressed. :o

That blows, LC. I would say buying a frame would help, but it probably won't.

So let's talk about me:
What is the better deal, the Exalibur all built with Rival and REynolds wheels for $1700, or the Excalibur frame with Centaur and Scirrocco wheels for about $1900? My Cinelli is Centaur, and I like it, so I am tempted that way. |

That is practical. Of course, I also have a bike with Shimano wheels now, so I'd have a spare either way. But I do think Campy would be the right way to go.
I like building them up myself, except I always seem to run into at least one stupid mishap (liking snapping off a lug on the fork of the last one) that makes me wonder why I bother. I then want to never build another. Luckily is doesn't last long, especially now that I know I am about 21 bikes behind. |
