yikes. I shouldnt have counted them.
22. 6 as a kid before I turned... damnit make that 23. 7 before I turned 18. Only 2 were road bikes, unless you count the 3 speed. and 16 as an adult.

Hey truckstop. Can you fit a bike in the back of your Abarth? That is an important question

Having stood beside one of those little Fiat 500's I would doubt it.

Are you a miner?

LowCel 03-08-13 07:39 PM

I went and visited Dad for my first time today. I'm depressed. :o

RollCNY 03-08-13 08:17 PM

That blows, LC. I would say buying a frame would help, but it probably won't.

Nope. Pretty sure the only thing that is going to help is time.

RollCNY 03-08-13 08:22 PM

So let's talk about me:

What is the better deal, the Exalibur all built with Rival and REynolds wheels for $1700, or the Excalibur frame with Centaur and Scirrocco wheels for about $1900? My Cinelli is Centaur, and I like it, so I am tempted that way.

If you already have Campy I would stick with it on the new build so you can swap wheels around if necessary.

RollCNY 03-08-13 08:32 PM

That is practical. Of course, I also have a bike with Shimano wheels now, so I'd have a spare either way. But I do think Campy would be the right way to go.

I like building them up myself, except I always seem to run into at least one stupid mishap (liking snapping off a lug on the fork of the last one) that makes me wonder why I bother. I then want to never build another. Luckily is doesn't last long, especially now that I know I am about 21 bikes behind.

Ssshhhhh, we're not supposed to talk about the monthly post contest. The title is up for grabs lately.
