I'm sure there is a grain of good intent with some logic in there, but I don't know of any other sports aside from NASCAR where a point is awarded for not winning.

Make no mistake, this is not a 'winning' streak.

Unless you count the Sheen Factor.

No, it ain't. It's a "not losing in regulation time" streak. Not easy, but who cares, really!

Hockey needs a lot more than gimmicky stuff like that to get people's attention in the US again.

If you mean after the lockout, then yes. What fans need is a whole lot of free/cheaper access to the game. Rule changes are part of the game, and the NHL considers more rule changes than the other major sports combined. Changing the scoring system though is like going back and allowing MLB players to count walks as hits, like they used to in olden days.

I think their problems started long before the lockout.

LC, did somnambulation result in a frame decision?

After a quick google search to figure out what that meant I have to say nope, haven't made a decision yet.

Pinarello Paris
De Rosa Merak Evolution
Focus Izalco Pro
Argon 18 Gallium

Ughhhhhh

At least lowcel doesn't abandon us

I actually stopped coming round a long while before I stopped being a mod. Being called names by pcad whenever he got his panties in a wad over something got a bit old. It was fun hanging out in here, but everything changes. Still, I find it within myself to still defend the guy when his name meets with derision in the racing forum.

coasting 03-07-13 10:01 AM

But is he not fast? He told us he was.

WHOOOSSHHH... 03-07-13 10:04 AM

He calls everyone names. Face to face I'd smush him like a bug between my thumb and forefinger like the fat little tub of gooey dough that he is....

LowCel 03-07-13 10:07 AM

Life is RUFF I tell ya....

My order of preference for LowCel's next bike:

1. De Rosa Merak Evolution
2. Argon 18 Gallium
3. Focus Izalco Pro
4. Pinarello Paris

No scientific criteria were use to develop these preferences.

Ughhhhhh

Looks like no bad choice. I only picked on the Pinarello because I can't personally get by the Onda (if that means wavy) fork. The seatstays I don't mind, but the fork just looks odd.

What is your reasoning for the De Rosa being in the number 1 spot?

coasting 03-07-13 10:09 AM

wibbly wobbly frame tubes is just ridiculous beyond reason.

If 3. was 1., and 1. was 2., and 2. was 3., and 4. stayed 4., then I would totally agree.

Two reasons; I like the way it looks and the name Merak was also used by Maserati.

If this place was only him, I'd be gone as well. But it isn't.

Besides, I was just being an instigator.

I think the Argon looks coolest, and looking cool is, what, 90% of the decision?

RUOkie 03-07-13 10:21 AM

I love the look of DeRosa frames. Otherwise I know nothing about them. I also don't know about the Argon or Focus bikes. I do not like pinnarellos. Just my opinion. But what do I know, my bike is ugly as sin

For the most part, I'd agree. I've seen a few Pins that I really liked, but only a few...

RollCNY 03-07-13 10:25 AM

I believe Focus makes their own frames in Germany. That doesn't make it true, but I believe it.
