Agree that Microsoft may be old, but far from irrelevant. Just because their stock behaves like a utility doesn't mean there's nothing going on in there. Using the small example of Outlook.com - it is making me consider moving from GMail, as I am tiring of the invasive ads and the stale look (it has changed very little since 2004).

I think that they've made really big strides in the last year or two.

Migrating email always sucks, but my hand was forced when I moved out of the Cablevision territory - lesson learned and I'll not use an ISP email for my primary again. Anywho, Outlook comes with the Office Live stuff, and OneNote really is great - wife and I use it for a variety of shared shopping lists and whatnot, so I can always have the current list available even if she just updated it 5 minutes ago from her laptop or iPhone. Remote desktop and other goodies are baked in, too.

Indeed - with the mighty GOOG, there is no reliable utility to move all of your mail into one file. I have to enable IMAP (which is far superior anyway), configure a mail client to gather the headers, then drag and drop 'All Mail'. I do this once a year just to be safe, but re-categorizing the import to another service makes it quite a task.

EDIT: It also appears one must use Windows Live Mail to get those files imported. *sigh*

I am doing the Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead juice thing. Since the Jan 8 wreck, I have put on 15 lbs. Adding oatmeal to the diet in the mornings for fiber until Apr. 1.

I'll be 180 before Pcad can write another song.

BTW, Ninja Master Prep makes it all possible. Eating vegetables sucks. Drinking them is so much easier.
