Do you know any oboists?

Daughter #2 plays it. #1 plays French Horn.

Why the heck they choose the tougher instruments is beyond me.

Your daughters rock - both are great instruments (I mentioned that I'm in an oboe phase now, I was in a French Horn phase about a year ago).

Ah, so when you said, "the **** you idiots worry about is just ridiculous," it was just papal self-flagellation? Do you have cast iron bibs and horse hair jerseys, too?

Self-flagellation is difficult when one has multiple selves. I think it keeps him busy.

We already understood that there are natural forces at play. This just tells science they are less preventable than many had assumed.

French horns are weird.

You have no idea.

Supposed to be 79° today. I brought my bike in and can't wait to go for a quick ride after work.

Bah Humbug 03-13-13 09:07 AM

I have a date with a crossfit girl tonight. May have interesting material to post after.

Lmao. I couldn't live in an area with long and snowy winters.

I overheard a cyclist about this time last year, "first ride of the season!" It's easy to ride all year round here, can't believe he hibernated all winter long.

We discovered after tearing down the motor, that the unseasonably cold morning temps contributed to my crash, the motor cold seized. My fault though for not noticing and stopping to put more tape on the radiator. (Very scientific tuning on those little bikes.)

You might surprise yourself if you gave it a chance. Amongst many other pluses, winter makes you appreciate the spring and summer even more.

He's sick alright.

What kind of tape would you put on a radiator? What bikes are you racing?

We don't get much snow. Just an unending supply of cloudy, miserable 42F days.

Aliens were always buying Big Macs for the Egyptians. Pyramid builders were fueled by supersized Cokes and chicken McNuggets.

You sound like my New England native husband. He really misses real seasons and snow. I appreciate spring and fall, but can do without the 100°+ summers. I really am a weather wimp, I admit.

That said, I am really intrigued by Colorado and loved living in Oregon. Possibilities for retirement.

bornonthefourth 03-13-13 09:44 AM

There is not enough coffee for the de-bugging I'm doing.
