Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Q: What's the difference between a drummer and a drum machine?
A: You only have to punch the beat into a drum machine once!

Q: How many guitar players does it take to change a light bulb?
A: Twelve. One to change the bulb and eleven to say they could do it better.

Q: Why do guitarists put drumsticks on the dash of their car?
A: So they can park in the handicapped spot.

the thing I found the most interesting, in the previous issue, they had 'bartoli's' bike form about 1949 or somrthing....the development in bike terms between that & eddy's bike was minimal, yet the development since Eddy's bike (say the same period of time) has been awesome......makes me wonder how good Eddy woulda been on todays equipment....

Where do you ride? I read some of your blog, interesting stuff. I just moved to the Central Coast, you mention people out riding at ridiculous hours of the day, I'm out at 5:30am from Erina to the train station to get down to Nth Sydney for work, I hardly see a sole, the odd dog walker. I went up to the Ourimbah crit for the first time 2 weeks ago, nice course for a local weekly race !!
