Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Hey Hitchy, you see in that Gerard Vroomen interview that there are rumours of
pro teams putting ice-blocks inside the frames for the weigh in?

hee hee hee.

Like I was saying, it's good read; he has quite a few subtle digs at the
cheaper carbon bikes.

Dear Aussie Thread Wánkers,

It's come to our attention that the 'Official Aussie Thread' is now taking up 56% of our alotted bandwidth for the month, yet none of you Roo Pokers have upgraded your membership by paying us 25 bucks. Also, we have discovered recently that you are all old fat slow bastards who have let to discover what MSN Messenger, iChat, AIM or ICQ is - meaning you are lowering the tone of the entire forum, flooding it with banter about cricket, and generally sh¡t-stirring the poor Seppos at every opportunity, causing confusion and mayhem everywhere.

Now, although you believe you are in the process of OWNING this forum through sheer quantity of verbal diahorrea, you are forgetting that this is a Dictatorship. As a result, we would be greatful if you kept it down to 2 pages per day. We understand the vital roll you collectively play in these forums ( keeping the bastards honest, calling d¡ckheads, 'dickheads' etc. ), but keep it down a bit fellas, okay?

Sincerely,
The Bikeforums management

...loved it......I posted some of it to the thread about "where is your frame made" or whatever it was called...I'm gunna save it for the next time some peckerhead tells me his TCR is an equal quality frame to anything else...& half the price....then I'm gunna give him the interview...."argue with that peckerhead!"
ice-blocks?......"waiter, a Cannondale thanks, shaken, not stirred"

Really now! I don't think the old fat slow bastards could ever catch a 'roo, let alone hold on long enough for a poke. Roo Pokers! Geez, makes me proud to be a seppo.

New baby here, so pretty busy, didn't know about SBS, that's fantastic news. Better make sure I'm on leave next July. I'm avoiding the phenomenal Aussie thread... just too much in that one.

hee hee hee...you mean a "keyboard"? Jeez, grandpa, get with "it", man/dude!!

Actually, our "keyboard player" quit, so we thought we wouldn't replace him, and
pocket more $$$$ each gig coz we went from 5 members to 4. All our keyboard
parts are now on an MP3 player.

The old gag: why are keyboard players like condoms?
Becuase you only use them when you absolutely HAVE TO!
