I think the legen goes like this:

green dots are bike/pedestrian paths
orange/brown = very heavy traffic zone and/or difficult conditions
purple = easier conditions (eg. wide bike lane on side of road)
>>>>> = hard climb (in direction indicated)

As soon as I come up with another huge wad of cash to spend, I'll get some shipped by boat. I'm going to be ordering the threadless too, as I can get the little valve/holder for them dirt cheap. Nothing right now though. And yes, the threadless are something crazy like 20 for US$12 or something like that. I just have to get about 100 to make them worthwhile. What do they cost out here?

2 for $16 on the websites, so, yeah, HUGE $$$. I'm checking BigW and gun stores but mostly they carry threadless which are a bit more of a pain to get to work properly.

Hey Expat, how cheap is dirt cheap? I've been thinking of getting one of these CO2 things for a while.

I'm pretty sure my cost will be around AU$10, with shipping. Depends on the quantity, the exchange rate, and the weather. That's for the little jobber that takes a threadless cartridge. The advantage is that the cartridges are heaps cheaper than $8 each. I'd like to sell them for 1/2 that, but unless I'm just buying for myself, I need to order enough to make it worthwhile. And yes, turns out I do have a small stash of threaded cartridges in my tool box.

I'm still lurking. Farken hot today, went out on the singlespeed out to Westerfolds Park along the Yarra Trail. Had to bunnyhop 2 Tiger snakes. Luckily, they didn't get confused and try to shag my bike. :)

I dunno if this is bad or not, ( or whether anyone want to hear this ) but I have the yellowest wizz I have ever seen at the moment. I'm drinking like a fish and don't seem too dehydrated.......I mean, I've been heaps more dehydrated than this and it hasn't been this fluorescent. It's amazing. Hopefully I haven't damaged my liver or anything ;)

Mine does that after my morning multivitamin crap. Body ejects all the crapola it doesn't need. Piss is bright yelow like a highlighter pen mark sometimes.

Hey Tiger, got a question. If you put a deep nick in your MTB bars, but it's covered by the brake or shifter clamp, is that a cause for concern? This is the commuter bike, former single speed, not the jump bike.

And it was a hot and windy ride home from work in Melbourne last night. 30 knot headwinds in 39C heat are not fun at all. Just about fell into a cold shower when I staggered in the door!

Didn't even get to the gym last night, it was so hot. How pissweak is that????
