.....thank you for the sympathy!....you can all stop laughing now!......on a serious note, one of my mates who did finish this Australian version of the 'Ididerod'...(y'know that cross country alaskan thing with the huskies etc)...hasn't had any feeling in the tips of 3 fingers since it finished. went to the doc this morning...mild frostbite!......in Oz!!!....damn it was cold!.....another mate sat in the car with the heater running for 15 minutes before he could take his gillet off...hands couldn't grip the zipper!.....

thanks for the compliment, im trying to distract myself from thinking of summer :mad:
I have thought about moving some where cooler for summer, but its quite laid back here on the trafic scene, and the summer babes are on the horrizon :)

Iv ridden the Mundaring-Jarradale section on w/end outings, this time of year would be the time to ride on the trail,as late September-March can get a tad warm.
By the time you get here hopefully the track isnt a trafic jam. :D

Aussi, I figure, you can never be too careful. ;)

OK, here's the deal...The father in law has just bought a holiday house in Sorrento and we were going to go down and spend the weekend there. Yes! Wattsy is a bludger! (He also married into the next class)

I had planned to ride there on Saturday which means that I can hook onto the tale of the Hell Ride to Frankston. Actually, I say Frankston, but I'd be happy to hook onto the tale to Patto River. So, I'll see you at Le Nicks at 6.50.

I see a weekend of hill efforts on Arthur's Seat. My mate Jeff Stewart reckons he did 10 ascents one day, prior to his well publizised (sp?) "infraction".....

And Huddo. Then there's Punter and Boonie.

I was going to say hills are what make us so good bike wise (and in motor sport, too), but I think it really must be the beer we brew here ;)

I'm guessing I should know who jeff Stewart is & what his 'infraction' was?......but I don't...so give!...speaking of infractions...some of the boys have received fines in the mail this week from cyclesport going back to the Shep road classic...appears that cyclists will be required to develop bigger bladders from now on!,
