The New and Improved HotRNot Thread
#2876
All the hot bikes have been posted, other people are not 100% sure how it will be received so the really close to hot bikes are going in the other thread to avoid the abuse of not being up to par here??

I need a new bike to post here.
That should work with my wife, don't you think?

I actually think that's a fine looking bike. Hot, but not sexy like some other ones on here. And the Jamis Icon is HIGHLY underappreciated in the industry for it's ride. (It competes with the CAAD 10 from my experiences)

Doesn't anyone ride a De Rosa 888 Superking? I don't think I've even seen any De Rosa posted on this or the other thread.

Hot! Gumwalls and gold chain are nice. Maybe need alittle more red accents to match the red hubs. And is that a Spesh Power saddle?

Hell yeah. I saw you unload a bunch of stuff on paceline, and wondered what you were working on.

Bikes: i may have bike(s)
I didn't want much color on the bike at all. My vision was all black with the gold chain and gumwall tires. After Selling my supersix, I needed a braze on FD. The guy I bought mine from happened to have a Chain catcher that he said he would give me because it was already on and didn't need it. It lucked out to be the same color red and adds a slight touch of color at the right angle.

Thank you! Its nice to see another Icon owner posting on here. Its a great bike to own and I do like riding a bike that you don't often see. Caads are great bikes but you see them everywhere.

I've been using praxis rings for 2 years now. Everything on this bike with the exception of seatpost and FD was on my prior supersix and I just moved it over to this frame. Been forever since I ever used FSA rings. What I recall though is that it was faster and smoother transition between rings.

I like this Cannondale! With the bright yellow gum walls, hubs in the same color would look great!

I'm not the guy in question, but my Praxis rings are loads better than FSA rings or SRAM's PowerGlide rings. I'm a big guy with strong legs, so maybe the extra stiffness helps, but everything just feels better.
