Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I don't care if it's hot, I like it, and I got some new carbon wheels and tires.

Not usually a fan of the two-color tape, but it works here. Nicely staged too.

Hot.

All of this. Ugly seatpost, spacers. Perhaps a Roubaix would have been a better choice. Or a larger frame. Or something.

Hot, except for the seatpost minder. Spin the wheels with the setms at 6'oclock and I give it a 100% HOT.

Hot bike! If you got some deeper wheels, it could be even hotter though. Nice job. Smaller bicycles look so much better...

Then you should ride it and ride it well! Why'd you post it here if you "don't care if it's hot"? Because, sadly, it's not. The frame has great potential to be hot, but certainly not the way it's set up. If you were building for aesthetics alone, I'd change the seat post, stem, remove the light and bag, go with a black chainring and get some deeper full carbon wheels. I realize that doesn't sound very practical, but on looks alone, it'd probably rank a hot with all of that...

Looks like a great ride, just not hot as is, that's all!

Turn bike around so we see the crank side.
Put the rear wheel in the stand.
Take off that tire pump on the top tube.
Take off that bag.
Get a -6 degree stem.
White bar tape to match the seatpost.
Use ALL black tires.
Rotate your bars down.

As it sits now, its a not for me

I think White bar tape would help in a big way. As of now, even with the other things I listed, it looks unbalanced with the red bar tape. White would balance it out. Fizik Microtex makes a nice glossy white that is easy to keep clean because it is almost like a vinyl material and can be wiped off easily.

Nice! what size is that?

I would get rid of the red thing at the seatpost collar (what is that?) and change out the seatpost, that one is hideous, and put deep wheels on it. Othewise, hot. I like the two-tone tape.

Yes they are. The stickers on the originals (SLE, SLS) do not cover the entire depth of the rim. And the spoke count of 16F/20R don't match either.

The 2300 shifters was also a giveaway.

I'll have a go. I'm sure I'll get dinged for the stem but it's too comfortable to change right now. Plus, it's only 1.5 weeks old right now.

Eh, it's just a 3 series. Nobody would have even noticed it if you didn't mention it.
