Those Giro shoes are nice. Unfortunately, the HVs were not quite HV enough for my feet. I still really dig the Empires, too.

We invited our friends and family and went to an all inclusive in Mexico. Had to be there 8 days in advance for a legal civil ceremony, so everyone went down early. Every morning we'd have a huge table at breakfast where everyone talked about who had hooked up with who.
My mom woke up to knocking on her door early one morning a few days before the wedding. She looks through the peep hole. Best man with a bottle of tequila in one hand and two beers in the other. Wrong room. That was a funny story during breakfast. My mom thought it was awesome.

I looked at the Empires, as well. Lace shoes are cool, but the black were really shiny... I didn't think I was good enough to rock those. The HV's feel good. I run the Mega Sidi's, and they're not quite there, but were close. Fizik's felt really good because the sole is flat, and doesn't curve up at the outsides.

We have a Minnehaha, too. Ours has one of the best seafood spots in the Twin Cities. Sadly, your M'haha probably has half a dozen better options. #notclosetotheocean

Casually Deliberate
Military wives groups seem to have a disproportionate amount of crazy dramanistas. Reading their FB posts is better than any SOAP or reality show right now.
Mr. Makel has forbidden me to comment on any of them. He rarely puts his foot down so I guess I'll let him have this one.

The best wedding locale of those I've attended was the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood. It was quite a rush to see the backdrop to so many movie and TV scenes.

when I lived in New Orleans my next door neighbor got married. His wife to be was from Mainline Philly. The wedding was at the Ritz-Carlton New Orleans with the ceremony here St. Louis Cathedral (New Orleans) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia If that wedding cost less than 100K I'd be surprised. There were well over 500 people there.
