Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Maybe you could just put both together in the food processor, then heat the mix up in the microwave, and have biscuits and gravy soup.

I was just thinking about waffles last week.

Must find a waffle iron.

Blame Feedzone Protables.

Biscuits are also good. But,....waffles are better.

No. There is no special flour for biscuits, waffles, pancakes.

There is only special flour for bread, pasta, and some cakes. But not all cakes.

Yall are just poking me with a stick now.

The place that I like to go to is in St Paul (they make great biscuits and the only time that I like sage is when it's in their gravy), so it would be a 2-3 hour round trip - not always easy to pull off with a kid. Besides, if my wife heard that I went to Colossal without her, I'd be in love lockdown.

Man, that's an awful lot of calories to ride off.

Meatballs tonight. One nice thing about being back in MN is that I can go to a Scandinavian butcher and buy Swedish meatball mix whenever I'm feeling too lazy to do it myself. By "too lazy to do it myself," I mean, "whenever the option to buy it fresh exists."

Sorry Joe, I'm going to have to cite you with a red for that. Not even a yellow warning, full out red.

Fig Newton availability was spotty at P2P yesterday. There was a good supply at the first stop, none at the second stop, and only an assortment of Fruit Newtons at the final stop.

I'd appeal to the new Stewardess @Heathpack, but I fear she would overturn your red and add me to the "banned users" list.

"2000 kcal of Hammer Perpetuem, 2 breakfast burritos, 2 Gnutella tortilla wraps, 3 Cliff bars, 4 Larabars, 1 flask of Hammer gel, 2 liters of Pepsi, lots of water."

That's what a friend consumed while riding 242 miles/18,000 elevation gain. Think I need to confront him on his Pepsi problem.

I received no sympathy from the 41 at large. I may have to go to the hybrid forum to get some.
