"2000 kcal of Hammer Perpetuem, 2 breakfast burritos, 2 Gnutella tortilla wraps, 3 Cliff bars, 4 Labradors, 1 flask of Hammer gel, 2 liters of Pepsi, lots of water."
That's what a friend consumed while riding 242 miles/18,000 elevation gain. Think I need to confront him on his Pepsi problem.

If there's a 70+ forum, you might catch some slack from the folks that grew up during the wondrous time when buying food mix in a box was nothing short of the fulfilled promise of the future.

We had excellent chocolate chip cookies at an event we attended Saturday night. I neglected to ask the baker what flour she used.

One of my coworker's grandparents owned a bakery (the grandfather died and took many recipes to the grave) and she brings in the most amazing baked goods. Today it was peanut butter cookies.

Ok, first of all while you all were poking me with a stick over flour, I was off reviving a stuporous Yorkie puppy (low blood sugar) and talking to a guy about why the uncontrolled heart arrhythmias, dramatic weight loss, anemia, and low albumin (a blood protein) all trumped the two seizures that his dog had, only to have him not believe me and walk out the front door. That's always a great feeling, watching them walk out and knowing they are going to die. Well, the truth is that dog is going to die anyway, but maybe less badly if I got involved.

i went with good stuff to start with to give it a fair shake. i can't afford weekly $40 bottles though.
i did try cheap bourbon out almost 20 years ago, fittingly for the recent subject matter in this thread, i bought a bottle of wild turkey. big mistake. i don't enjoy drinking water from the toilet that's on fire.
