Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Speaking of old, this is cool. Got me to thinking about what to put in a current time capsule.

Time capsule found inside lion statue removed from Old State House - Metro - The Boston Globe

Given this crowd, it would be a Peugeot UO-8 and CDs from Huey Lewis and the News and Flock of Seagulls.

Today is physical inventory day. So, being the cost accountant in charge of inventory I got to wake up three hours earlier than usual and drive into work on my day off.

...wait until you are old, and sometimes just wake up at 3 in the morning for no reason at all and cannot go back to sleep.

In my experience it was purely a Philadelphia area phenomenon. I am pretty sure you can still find it there. But I have seen Taylor Pork Roll on the Gulf Coast.

...it was inflicted upon me as a defenseless child in Boy Scouting adventures in and around D.C., but that's close to Philadelphia.
Even at that naive and tender age i was a little put off by the idea of eating pig snouts. I guess here they just go in the sausage

The butcher at our CSA was a Philadelphia transplant. He made good scrapple. Sadly, he moved back to Philly and scrapple is off the menu.
