Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

If you get it going again make sure to pull all the data you need off of it (assuming it isn't already backed up somewhere).

Yep. I told her about all the strippers last night but she's still unaware of my association with Mennonites. I hope she takes it better than she did the stripper situation.

...there's a great joke about a Mennonite stripper in here somewhere, but I'll leave it on the table for Ramona.

Did you hang out with them for the religious services? Or just the parties?

I attended a couple of services, handful of weekday bible study type affairs, and one wedding.

Today was perfect weather for a ride. We had 10 riders for our "A-" ride, we kept the pace civilized and ended up with 76 glorious miles.

You're a Mennonite? Heck I work In a haven of Mennonites. Three all over the place. But it's the Amish and their stupid buggies that drive me nuts.

Hey, it seems most of my club-mates use some sort of a GPS-based computer. I don't bother with such silliness. I do have the strava app on my iPhone, I simply push "start" at the beginning of the ride and "end" when it's over, to keep track of where I went and mileage. The iPhone stays in the back pocket.

Am I missing out on anything??
