get the Dual and spend the additional money on better wheels. Better wheels will make a bigger difference in the speed of the bike than the difference in those 2 frames.

for a sprint you shouldn't have much problem breathing every stroke (ie every right or left side depending on preference). Alternate side breathing is helpfull when you end up looking into the sun....
