trying to convert an older 8s MB to 1x set-up.

narrow wide chainrings from Race Face and others all list '9/10/11 speed comparable' but would they work with an 8 speed rear and 8 speed chain?

Assuming you have campy 9 speed shifters and 9 speed cogs, or 10 speed shifters and 10 speed cogs.... most Campagnolo rear derailleurs will work with either correct?

I'm looking for a used one...
