I don't like the wormy apples, so I use integrated pest management to trap the moths, a complex system of degree day calculations, and timed spraying a few of times each season. Which is why it's called "management".
The apples and the citrus are in two different areas, because they require different cultivation routines. The people walking their dogs past here all like it. I have the impression I'm like a Central Valley farm exhibit for the neighborhood. Some old guy who still grows fruit, even though it's easily purchased from the local farmers at some of the local farmers markets.

After grocery shopping and lunch I passed out on the couch and when I woke up I realized how tired I am. Legs hurt before the ride on Tuesday and I went again yesterday, but only a short one.
Usually I'm ok for Saturday with a short spin on Friday. Recovery seems to be my biggest issue these days.

I had some Mavic pedals in the 80s. They were huge, black and yellow, and the whole pedal body swiveled. They used a cleat similar to Look/Shimano at the time. Didn't work for me because I hadn't figured out I needed pedal extenders yet.
