My weakness as of late is this spicy hot cheesy pop corn called okee dokee. I’m not big on junk food but I have no resistance to that little cheesy spicy goodness. I choose to not keep it in the house anymore.
Ice cream falls right behind this. I have a scoop of ice cream prolly 3 times a week.

A *good* bagel with lox and cream cheese? Oh, that's worth it, at least once every blue moon.

A lot of times, my junk food cravings boil down to spice and/or salt. These days, I'll grab some Blue Diamond almonds - they have Bold flavor varieties that I like, particularly the Sea Salt & Vinegar or Sriracha. A small handful will do. I'm not claiming that they're healthy, but they're prolly less bad than the alternative. Prolly.

I run one meeting every 2 months at the hospital. I somehow got roped into being the chair about 16 years ago and they won’t let me quit. It’s a focused meeting, and almost always comes in under 1 hour despite sometimes long agenda. The only thing worse than wasting my time is sitting around with a bunch of people and realizing we are all wasting our time. Life’s too short.

Well, well - the drizzle and dreariness is parting and it looks like I may get in a ride, yet.

Vain, But Lacking Talent
About 50 minutes to start of the 37 mile gravel ride. It's just under 40 degrees at the start and I'm the only joker out here in shorts without knee/leg warmers because I could only find one of them last night.

Yeah, that's pretty chilly for bare knees. At least the sun is out!

I did it from the comfort of my home. We had 6 riders but one was having technical issues and bailed after 15 minutes. The rest of us stayed together and we had a good ride. There was some chitchat on Discord which kept it interesting. One of the guys is a really strong rider so he set his weight to 100Kg even though he weighs 70, just to get a better workout. Anti-weight doping at its finest.

Hey, folks. I just wanted to let you know I don’t have much to say these days. Busy with other things. I will pop in and out, but please don’t be concerned if you don’t hear from me for a while. Ride safely and have fun.

I get frustrated with lox and cream cheese portions outside of NY - they're so skimpy. There's a place called NYC Deli and Pizza (or something like that) down here in W'burg - maybe I'll see if they get it right. Prolly not, though.

My friend had a "Pink Frosting" cantilever Crockett frameset that he promised he would have given me a screaming deal on, but it was too small
I need to ride 60cm bikes at a minimum, and his was a 58cm.
Have fun on your ride!

The lox portion really matters to me. Gotta be 2 layers minimum throughout. I like assembling them at home the best, mainly cuz I like to put fresh ground pepper on top.
