Diamondback Ridge Runner, 1983 -- $200, Newburg/Portland OR.
First generation 1983 Diamondback "Ridge Runner" 15 speed mountain bike, mostly original.
It has a 20 inch frame and a 30 inch stand over height. This bike is a collector's item with many desirable components. The serial number is N3K5058. The bike is in very good mechanical condition and it is ready to ride.
The paint job is a little rough but the bike is sound. The bike has rare ARAYA 26 x 1.75 inch alloy rims with SUZUE sealed hubs, which often sell for $150 to $300. It has the original Suntour bearclaw pedals which often sell for $40 or $50.
The crankset is a Sugino AT triple crank. The rear derailleur is a Suntour X-1 Accushift Plus. The front derailleur is a Suntour Mountech. It has the desirable "Bull Moose" handlebars. The brakes are Dia-Comp.
It has rack mounts on the front forks. It has Champion No. 5 seamless cromoly tubing. It has Suntour power thumb shifters. If you want a nice first generation mountain bike this bike is for you. $200 or best offer. Trades may be considered. Serious buyers only.

Does anyone recalling seeing an orange 1972 Schwinn World Voyageur for sale on Ebay in the last 6 months? Pics were lousy, bike was missing front wheel and seat, and it was located in Tulsa. I'm located in Tulsa. It didn't sell on Ebay and seller now has it for sale on CL for $299. I inquired about it and the seller called me several times. He's really trying to move it but doesn't seem to have any takers.
I'm just wondering if anyone inquired about the bike or has any thoughts about it. I may go look at it this weekend. Would an original replacement front wheel be easy to locate? How much would it cost (including shipping)? Thanks for any feedback.

It came with 27" rims, laced to Shimano 333 hubs.
If it helps, I have a set of 333 hubs you can have. Just keep in mind that finding another wheel or even another donor bike would be cheaper than lacing them up.

Not sure if it's a vincitore.. looks like it has eyelets on both the front and rear dropouts, but the lugs look like what should be on a vincitore

Somebody should get in touch with this guy and ask about the eyelets on both sets of dropouts. Pics are a little dark, so it's difficult to see if the paint is original - or if there's any torch-blackening around the eyelets. Seeing 1010A dropouts with eyelets would be a first for me on a Colnago Super or Mexico from the early 80s.
