Vintage racing 10 speed bike made in Italy. Lots of original Campagnolo parts on the bike and it’s very light weight and fast aluminum frame."

(Still no hint as to what it is, but it's increased five-fold in price since you posted! Still aluminum, though?)

Don't know a ton about Cannondale bikes but for the price could be a good project. If only it was bigger I'd probably snatch it up.

Worth $65 as a project bike? Found one thread on Gitane, seems like they made some cheap and some ok bikes. Not sure where this would fall. Also, any idea if this would be a good candidate to convert to fixie or single speed?

Something like a mid range Gitane TDF would be nice but I'm not really a fan of low end French ten-speeds. Japanese or even Schwinns tend to be much better put together.

98/99 is pushing C+V but definitely one of the older S-Works road bikes I've seen. I've seen Works Stumpjumpers but the road ones from the 90s are pretty infrequent.

It gets C&V cred for the quill stem, the square taper and the sane spoke count.

Funny, I was going to say, maybe parts, but nope, those are Japanese. So the best we're going to get is "assembled in..." The cycling version of the olive oil scandals.... But what a crazy deal. Even a pantographed stem. I would have dropped my tools, and jumped in the truck. I even have a (semi) extra Vitus fork...
I do appreciate the sharing of all the info, even when seeing the blue Mooney[s] made my eyes start to bleed...

Rossin Columbus Gara

Rossin from Columbus Gara, 58 seat tube, 56cm top tube. Definitely one of the interesting Rossin paint/decal schemes. Looks in great shape from pictures.
