Sunglasses recommended for your viewing pleasure!
Seriously, that thing is shiny! |
Everything gotta be bling in the ATL. :thumb:
Are you talking about the bike or the car? The bike is pretty bling. In the world of flat black I get lots of comments from other riders. Little kids, especially the boys, are like, "Awe man, that's cooooool!" Some guy asked me about it and started telling me about all the chrome on his Harley. https://www.dropbox.com/s/8ib2eu0f6o...rotfl.gif?dl=1 Car is pretty shiny too. Claybar and then Wolfgangs. Things that move should shine. |
Haha, well the car is shiny too but I was totally talking about the bike.
That thing on a sunny day is blinding, haha. |

Can Wolfgang paint sealant be used on raw polished aluminum?
Having said that, what I understand from reading is that the newer sealers cure in the presence of oxygen. If dew settles on the car overnight it will not cure as the moisture will "drown" it. I put the car in the garage and looked at it every few hours. It got shinier (more shiny?) as the sealer cured throughout the afternoon. I put a few coats of carnuba over the sealant so that it pops. Honestly, I would just wax a bike. That's just me. Carnuba will last 6 to 8 weeks if you wipe it down often. My Bianchi has about 9,857 coats of Megiars Gold Class carnuba. I want to try Meguiars Ultimate but its $25/can and I'm not sure it is compatible with the paint sealant on my car. The bike is nice but I'm not spending $25 on wax that can only be used on my bicycle. Zymol is another excellent brand. Their color specific polishes are outstanding. If I had the money I'd get ceramic nano coating on the car. That's really the way to go. It isn't wax or sealant and will last forever. Once and done. It is very expensive though. Might be worth looking at for a nice bike. |

^ that almost looks fake. Nice picture

btw, how can i make my bike self stand for photo shooting?
|
You have to train it using positive reinforcement.

Getting beyond the fact that the poster seems to always want to turn this place into a car discussion group...that is one helluva level saddle
At least I actually own and ride a fixed gear bike. This place seems like a mountain bike forum at times. Welding, pot smoking, look at my new tattoo, rice burritos... |

My $240 Bianchi, haven't done anything to it, and plan on beating it to hell. |

There's nothing wrong with best of both worlds. Even my cdale track is a mis-mash of sex. |
