It definitely looks radial. Crazyyy

You know - you did not do yourself any favors taking your superlight Wabi wheelset apart to reuse the hubs...

If they were from the 1st go 'round that Richard hand built himself - he used KT hubs, which is just Quando's (which makes generally lousy hubs) top-end model. Or if it was the production model that came later - those use Joytech hubs which are certainly servicable enough, but nothing special, and also are very cheap...errr...inexpensive.

It is a shame to have used such rather mediocre hubs on a what could have been a very nice wheelbuild with those H Plus Sons rims, and you cost yourself a not too terrible spare wheelset to save a few bucks instead of just buying nice new hubs.

But good luck to you and enjoy your new wheelset...

Going to be sad once that brake strip is sliver though. At least it will still all match!

Thanks, Dad. Several thousand miles and the hubs still roll smooth and fast so I didn't see any benefit to replacing them. Thanks for your input, I guess.

They're not nearly as bad as almost all other wheel logos.

Yeah they are pretty subtle.

Scrodzilla 06-29-16 05:32 PM

I like the logos on Archetypes. That Soma Rush is ****ing awesome.

Leukybear 06-29-16 05:36 PM

Alrighty, discussing that site feature is something that's best left to PM's.

Can't talk about using the forum on the forum. Check.

PMs are a site feature I don't use either.

I'm new here, but have enjoyed checking out other peoples' rides. Here is my first FG build that I've been riding for a few years.

My only Single Speed bike besides my BMX is the bike I built for commuting this year, but I ended up riding it on weekend rides also. It's an old Huffy Santa Fe cruiser turned into an urban warrior. I am running semi-slick 26x1.95 Kenda tires, 22.2 MM BMX stem, Emgo Motorcycle handlebars, 44 tooth BMX main sprocket with a 19 tooth rear........

[QUOTE=Johnny Mullet;18885361].......... an urban warrior.

Not so urban where we live, fella'! But, it seems to be ideal for the roads around here. I can sure see how it became your "go to".

We're riding to the Mespo "Ox Roast" for their fire dept benefit today. Hoped to meet/see you there. That should be a stone's throw for you, right?. Low probability, but I'll be looking around anyway.
