Opinions on Bare Knuckle/EAI frame
Besides butt ugly, how do these frames perform? They look tight, stiff and fast...esp the black. Ive seem them priced from under $400 to $580. Someone has to have an idea or two about this?

the pink is way faster than the black, but you can't beat the green ones for stiffness.

I think the frame looks very nice, but the fork is total vomit. That would be the first thing I'd replace on a Bareknuckle/Nessuno.

Uh couldn't you buy a bareknuckle in a hideous color and have it powder coated
aftermarket for that $100 bucks? Then you'd have a one of a kind frame especially if
you killed the powdercoater & and destroyed that color. Yeah that'd be sweet.

i'd immediately drop another $100 for a silver sparkle powder coat.

He still has some frames for sale (as listed on the site) but all '06 stuff is not on sale.

i love mine. it's green and stiff, not unlike an un-ripened banana. pics soon, hopefully tonite, as the build is 100% done minus track cranks. 130 bcd 105 road cranks for now. poopy, but the money is GONE. as for the beauty of the beast, they aint a lugged masterpiece, but they are not a fetish or whatever they are called either. those things are hideous looking.

this being my first true track frame after about a yearand a half on a conversion,i'm blown away. still getting used to what it is capable of, and how quick it is. very stiff, very tight and responsive, but again, ive never had a track frame to compare it to. threading through trafiic is getting "extension of body"-like, the absolute subtlest movement translate into big results. biggest thing to me is the BB height...i'm so trained to know what lean angle will inevitably end in pedal strike, and even when i push this well past it to where i'm waiting to hear that scrape, i look down, and i still have like 2 inches. sweet! once i trust/ get used to this frame fully, it will be insane. toe overlap...scared the **** outta me at first, but my cages were too big anyways. scaled down to M's, and with 170's i have to lift my toe the TINIEST bit if i'm like threading through cars real slow. this is on the 56. i don't even think about it, it's no problem at all. this bike is stiff, but i definitely would not call it uncomfortable at all, even after so long on a relaxed geo. road frame. i do ride a brooks B17 tho, which takes a lot of the shock out. acceleration...i upped my gear when i built it, so i'm still getting used to that, but again, super responsive, especially from an easy cadence to full sprint to beat the red light. altogether, really plaesed with it. a little more new school than i planned on, but i got a great deal from my friend, who it was too big for. on that note, get a size smaller than you would usually ride, the top tube is deceptively long. i'm 6'1", and the 56 feels good. good luck...

I'm 6'4", 34" inseam, and I generally look for a top tube around 59. Does anyone have any experience with the larger sizes? Also, I know it's been asked before, but if anyone has concrete geometry numbers (angles, wheelbase, etc.), it would be very appreciated.

BareKnuckles are "square" sizes... size 56 will have a 56cm top tube. I'm betting the previous poster measured from the back of the seat tube to the front of the steer tube.

Is part of the confusion here that the seat tube is a center-center measurement? It seems like most frames are measured center-top. One of the local shops had a Bareknuckle sized "57", but that's the c-t measure. The c-c measure was 54, and the top tube was 55.5, matching the Business Cycles specs.
