Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

It is a glass coverslip that was milled out using a focused ion beam...the side walls are like that due to redeposition of the glass that is being essentially blown apart by the ion beam

i once used a tattoo machine to do drawings on a copper plate to print intaglio. fun. ended up being a really nice pencil like effect.

Bikes: Makino (have the parts; not yet built), EAI Barekuckle, Unknown Japanese fixed conversion, Centurion Dave Scott Ironman road bike (frame), Secret project bike, 2007 Trek Madone 5.2, Cannondale Caad3 mountain bike

That's incredibly detailed. I'd give you $5, but I don't know why.

bandanna shirt:

i wanted to create a ridiculous/absurd shirt using "bandannas" since it's become such an image centric thing. Whether you be a bike punk/hardcore kid in the pit/thug/hipster/or cowboy-- I just wanted to turn the whole image upside down with a whale coming off the end of the tie.

Yep. If anyone's interested in buying some I got some left.....................

that is hella good. i can't tell from the picture, but is the black layer on the back supposed to be paisley like on the front or is it something else? i'd be interested in purchasing a small and a medium.

The black is a "paisley" print. It doesn't quite look the way I would want it too-- but for a first edition it is starting to get there.

I'm selling them for $15 + shipping. They are American Apparel organic cottons-- so size accordingly.

If you guys are still interested, send me an email at
nathanbryanlee@gmail.com

I also have an edition in blue bandanna + whale and white paisley overtop. I can send you guys better pictures later (I might borrow a SLR over the weekend).
