http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=110227622855 I have the ultegra version, but it's way too small for me. Destined for ebay. hoping for $200+ I'm starting to lean towards purchasing a frame as I recently came across this (http://www.austinyellowbike.org/services.htm), which would allow me to learn how to build a bike up from scratch for simply volunteering some of my time or making a small donation. That said, I'm still pretty obsessed over getting an actual non-conversion fixed gear which limits my options some unless I find a good deal here or on craigslist, or Bike Island gets a shipment of the Kilo TT's in. |

Again, you can always start to buy parts that you are going to want Wheels, cranks, headset, etc. find a bike at the Co-op to slap them on and then order a TT/whateves when the time comes and BLAMMMO! Two bikes one a beater with the tt parts and the tt mated with your fancy stuff. (Yes I'm generally long winded and all the coffee does not help.) |

Aye, those bike co-ops are great we have a few I know of in Florida and it always makes for a fun day. If you are looking to get a real track frame you can always just take whatever you have to one of the YellowBS's and build away. I used to use "Crank it Up" in Tallahassee to build and true wheels. That's where I also learned what happens when we over tighten spokes. I say get a TT and build it up from there. I wish I'd read you searching for a frame sooner there was a fuji 58cm that went for under $200US last night. I'll keep an eye out for ye. I travel loads too so I'll watch the CL's and see if I can't ship anything your way, if you're willing to pay for shipping that is.

I think that's what I'm going to do unless a good deal pops up while I am trying to decide on the frame. If do come across something that would be worth the effort to ship I would most definitely pay for the costs involved, so by all means look around if you are willing! I plan on making a trip over to that co-op this week so I can get an idea on what they have to offer in terms of frames/parts, although I'm just getting into this so I don't exactly know what to look for other then "that looks like a piece of **** and this looks like it's in good condition". Thanks to Sheldon Browns site I can also now spot a horizontal/vertical drop, so that should help too. |
I'd put this up in Class&vin, but I don't see an Ebay thread there.
So not a ss/FG... yet, but http://orlando.craigslist.org/bik/596169253.html http://orlando.craigslist.org/bik/596169253.html |

Thank you very much, everyone, for taking a look. It truly warms my heart. |

What is way too small? The one in the link is too big for me, I probably need something around a 53 - 56 (I'm 5'10 with a 31.5 or so clearance). If you are looking to get rid of a bike that I may be interested in let me know!

Those frames look almost exactly like IROs. I'd guess he gets them from the same Taiwanese factory.
