Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

replace the rear spinergy, I'd ride with the front. Otherwise looks decent.

I would have to say fixed gear is the new rollerblade. or worse maybe the new soap shoe.

no, actually, keirin racers use slotted cleats along with clips and straps. no one uses just clips and straps. and they do so to adhere to old time standards, not because it's a superior system.

besides them, no other racer else really does. you may find an odd exception here or there, but a vast majority of people who race use clipless. And a decent amount of those that use clipless modify their pedals to hold a single strap for extra stiffness and to reduce shoe flex.

I remember seeing those about 13 years ago. There was a dude riding a pool with one. It was pretty sick, though in my opinion pool riding is one of the best things ever so take that one with a grain of salt. Anyhow it seems like a unicycle with training wheels which basically means it's for failed unicyclist...i.e. *******. C'mon whats the matter? Can't balance well enough?
