You know, it is a pursuit bike.
Considering that there's a pretty much brand-new Langster Comp for $400 on SLC CL, I would agree with you.

Posting this image IMO, is rather insensitive. Not everyone in the world, has the luxury of disposable income, to toss on bikes. Parents in 3rd world countries do their best, to let their children enjoy the "American Dream." Kids riding their Schwinn Stingrays down the neighborhood.
Living in a country, and watching 11 kids share 2 bikes, with flat tires, rusty chain, 1 pedal, and no handle bar grips is kind of sad to watch. (Esp. if you are a parent.) Yet, those kids can still have just as much fun as anyone of us, with our $XXX(x for those ballers) bikes...
Again, IMO, and I know it was a joke. Just had to say sumtin.

[QUOTE=toosense;9875138]im well aware of what e.vill doers is,which is why i referred to it. why so much hate towards the SD FG scene? did those stupid hipsters make fun of you or what?[/QUOTE
your use of "scene" is what I have a problem with actually. not really any of the people that bike in SD.

The most worst thing about that pursuit bike is the 700c front end.
it was obviously made for a 650something, shoulda kept the 650 and rocked bmx bars.
would make it so much more bad ass.

not such a bad bike perse. but really? $400. most of us start out on conversions but really you can get a new big box track bike with better components and such for cheaper. I mean no matter how much you put into it it is still a conversion. Plus Ive ridden by this guy so many times and he cant ride for jack!

That SLC ad is ridiculous, though. way overpriced.
Nishiki is fine...just another pursuit frame turned into FG. My friend has one that is a Pinarello, maybe i'll post it on here just to make some of you guys punch holes in your walls.

Also, what's funny about that guy posting that ad saying "....stolen...you're a dead guy" is that now the seller prolly sees that and isn't gonna meet with anyone to sell the bike, so they won't be able to catch him. If he woulda stayed quiet and just gone over there and called the cops, he would have his bike back.

Are they the "BALLS DEEP" idiots? Or is that *another* set of kids who make Critical Mass useless as a method for actual political change?

i'm all for adding colour to your bike. but this garish throw random bright colours on the bike is really annoying. not to mention it looks terrible.

the people that really ruin critical mass in san diego isn't anyone who rides fixed. well i can't speak for everyone because im sure there are idiots, but from what i've seen and heard, its your typical frat boy from PB riding a beachcruiser.
