An all-silver version would look wonderful on my bars.

The thing I really want to see is a way to remove the brake lever without having to un-tape and slide it off.
Makes stripping the bars for use at a track a pain in the arse.

i dunno bout these brakes though. the design of the lever doesn't look that ergonomic. i'm sure it's well built and will last forever unlike some of the cheaper cross levers i've destroyed, but yeah - the c-shaped lever is questionable. i'd have to ride with it before passing judgement though.

I wonder if the next trend could be to buy a cheap brake lever and cut it down to a one-finger pull size...

So I set off, it holds together and I'm feeling fine because I know dutret is right and that these V brakes rock. The bike looks cool too from the experiment, I know it must do because except for clearance V brakes whip the cantis ass. The problem is, I pull the cable to check the brake and was very shocked to see that the brakes aren't very good. When I came round I looked at the front wheel and can see that there is a lot of electrical tape and lego in the spokes, and that the brakes have been thrown off into the distance.
I'm sorry dutret, but the experiment failed, it would appear that V brakes aren't better than cantis in every respect.
