They're new for 2007 so I bet you'll find very little. They're probably little more than a month old. I got a good recommendation from my LBS about them. I went with sugino 75 but that Miche wouldn't be a bad choice, I think it might have been cheaper than the Sugino as well.

while miche's 135 bcd never bothered me, i think it's a smart move, making a 144 bcd track crank.
you don't want to do proprietary **** unless a lot lot lot of people are using your ****. and even then, it's risky (how'd DA ten pitch do, by the way...?).

135 is the Campy road standard..hardly proprietary. I know it really opened up the option of using C-Record to new Record cranks for my fixed gears. It's far less expensive than going for a true track crank.

though there are possibilities in both 3/32" and 1/8", only miche makes a 135bc 1/8" chainring (to my knowledge).

Huh? I don't see how this is relevant. We're talking about fixed gears here. If you wan't 135 bcd road chainrings, there are many manufacturers to supply them. How many different companies do you want providing a nearly similar product? The Miche chainrings are a nearly equal product to Campy, and I don't think either company is going under any time soon, so why the complaints?

i rode miche cranks for a quite a while, and did indeed on a few occasions switch between 1/8 and 3/32. i don't have a problem with it.
but i still think that going for compatibility is a far better business model than uniqueness - which may be a better word than proprietary. but the point remains the same.

Product differentiation and making something incompatible with other common items on the market is not a good business decision though; unless your product is incomprehensibly better than the competition and it's worth the hassle of having to buy /your/ replacement parts and upgrades. It'd be quite hard to do this in something like chain rings though. The Miche Advanced crank is already a pretty noticeable and standout piece of hardware, making it compatible with track standard 144 BCD is a very good move.

Worked real well for m2racer huh?
Level would probably do better if they used standard drilling without all the fancy stuff anyway. But at least they can argue that there is an advantage to there system. Miche could not do so for 135mm bcd. Switching to 130 or 144 was a smart move.
Hopefully they will still make the 135 rings for a while their current owner base and campy converters.

I'm sure they will. This seems like a higher end crank to add to the collection.
