coming soon: some tufo tub/clinchers, mks silverstars with campy clips and toshi straps, a real seat, and then.... a real frame!

edit:sorry for the ****ty cellphone pic

Wow, my once-unrealistic joke has come true - Sugino 75 cranks on a crappy Schwinn conversion. Way to put the cart before the horse. Also, those Bianchi bars obviously like to have sex with other men!

DasProfezzional 12-08-07 07:14 PM

Sugino 75's and on a le Tour? Have you been smoking flakes?

Gentle Jeebus, what hath fixed-gear mania wrought?

JellyMeetsJam 12-08-07 08:40 PM

cranks worth more than frame...

endo shi 12-08-07 08:42 PM

are you in a frat house?

piwonka 12-08-07 09:33 PM

holy**** nevlis. move your brake lever. that's horrible.

It's a given. What I want to know is whether the frame's old enough that he had to buy an OPC-to-European BB converter before he put the 75 on the le Tour.

wearyourtruth 12-08-07 11:43 PM

widmer hefe... gross.

what's the one north-east of the he-brew?

Well, I'll give him a pass on that, since the bike is obviously not being ridden (without a front tire).

doofo 12-09-07 12:03 AM

weve hit some kind of critical mass of jokes bikes

they are multiplying out of control!

yazoo hefeweizen. yazoo is a nashville brewery.

to all else. thank you. i have been pwnt. excuse me while i wait to ride a bike until i have enough to drop on... what should i get... a pista!

edit: in all fairness. i did say "coming soon:... a real frame". but it was pretty tight as a road bike. so. im def keeping the frame.

dude should throw down for a pake frame--would be a lot more
fun that the le tour and not expensive--possibly cheaper
than those cranks

Photos are from here: http://www.ridemonkey.com/forums/sho...=187985&page=6. The guy built the frame, fork, axle, seatpost clamp, etc. Just about everything on the bike is custom, right down to the saddle.

That is slick as hell

thedips 12-09-07 02:59 AM

here is my.... BRIDGESTONE... ( yes i need a more vintage style chainring...)
also since this pic.... the cranks, bars, stem, and post all have been polished out super shiny....

hope you like.. or dislike... :D

aesthetically speaking.....I probably shoulda pulled off the blinkie T_T

jamey 12-09-07 08:09 AM

i'd probably throw a suspension seat post on that guy just to make the ride a little more enjoyable. that seat tube angle is mighty steep!

bonechilling 12-09-07 08:11 AM

Man, I love red Fizik tape.

piwonka 12-09-07 08:29 AM

nah, it's not that steep.

one of the shots (I didn't post) the flash fired and all the little perforations are glowing with the reflection from the bars underneath :)

and......it ain't so steep. just looks that way since the back wheel is off the ground and in that mini-rack.
