Finished my first fixed gear last night - it came together with help of some friends and a ENO wheel build. Can't wait to start commuting to work again...

I'm guessing they bumped the fork out for barspin-purposes. Of course, that means the thing likely handles like a Schwinn Varsity, though I'm sure everyone who owns one says "it rides like a dream."
My question is are those actually ****ing cottered cranks, or are they some kind of full-size BMX rig? My money's on cottered.

Thanks! It's an early 90's Nishiki Competition frame made out of Tange steel.
It might look better without brakes i guess but buying brake pads is waaay cheaper than tyres. Plus with a 46-15 ratio, i can't stop this thing quick enough wthout them.
