nice looking ride.

I have thought about completely re-doing my razesa slx frame also but I do not know if it is actually worth the money,
when i bought it it was new and painted blue with chromestays and fork.
living in ca for 30 years and living close too the beach area and my sweating produced alot of pitting and rust. so I had it painted above and the only difference is the conversion.
the decals i had made from a shop in Ojai Ca they also painted the frame. ..the orginal peeled off, real crappy paint from europe/spain.

awesome bike but WHAT is that cat? I must know now. (farthest left.) it looks HUGE.

Also, I was wondering if you had more pics of that bike with emphasis on the bike/stem area. I am deciding on those deda bars or another set for my next build. I dont know what I think about the oversized clamp size versus the standard clamp size.

DasProfezzional 03-24-08 09:28 PM

Ur nutz...they has a flavor.

bonechilling 03-24-08 09:43 PM

and a cable on that brake.

Marukin SS conversion, I still have stuff to do but it's ridable. Started out extremely heavy with just about steel everything. It now includes some 27" arayas laced to some cheapo hubs that I took off some god-awful 90's huffy, a wrights saddle that's about to be trimmed, sugino Maxy cranks, SR stem and bars, drilled shimno 600 brake levers with some old shimano tourney centerpulls that work pretty well (back one is going on soon).

BTW it's about a 68-69cm frame.

Did you swap out the fork for like a spicer cycle's fork then powder coat the bike? I was thinking about doing that to my booger colored pista.

Aye, this was day one after finally getting home and putting her all together. Thus, no brake or straps. Though later I broke one of the clips. Don't ask how, I'm still trying to figure out that one. So I walk into the LBS and he gives me a deal on a set of look clipless. I am now riding those and I'm hooked, after years of clips and thinking clipless silly. I am hooked and never going back for a speed or touring bike. My round-towner sure, but it's like an entirely different (better) experience being clipped in. imho, of course.

He is HUGE! He's the only cat I've ever met that you can spoon with and be momentarily fooled that it's just a hairy purring woman. I'm not certain of the breed, anyone's guess is as good as mine, but I'll ask my mate as they belong to her. As for the bars, I'm beginning to like them they seem to absorb loads more shock than standard gauge aluminium bars. Still, I want to put a carbon seat stem on as well as a carbon cockpit w/ short TT's. Something about the forward "aero" position that I find really comfortable.
More pics of more bikes soon enough.:D
