A: Whole lotta.

Damn, things like this make me want to commit to making my next bike something other than a road or track bike.

I put my drops back on. I wanna polish my chainring or get one that's silver, the blue's kinda eh.

Live2Die 04-12-08 12:40 PM

I say polish it or just wait to replace it until your chain is worn out but I don't think it's bad enough to spend money on aesthetics. Just ride more and wear it out faster right ;)

NeilMonday 04-12-08 12:43 PM

dude sell the blue chainring dont polish it. I think there would be plenty of people after that blue sugino messenger ring.

That Jamis is pretty sweet. My next bike is gonna be a Full Rigid 29er. I am leaning to the Redline Monocog Flight. I am also considering the Kona Unit 2-9 or the Jamis Exile. Nice Jamis though.

Another look for the IRO! Sorry if I piss off anyone with my repetition, but I really like tooling around with it. It's the best bike that suits my style (I've sold all my other bikes because I just thought it was too much to have more than 2 bikes so I'm down to 1 road bike (for training) and 1 track bike (for commuting and racing) to make things simpler).

Didn't have an extra spacer so I improvised with a key ring

Yea but I haven't had the opportunity to carry things yet. That sucker is too heavy to leave on the bike if it won't be used daily

personally, I don't like the idea reaching directly beneath me to grab a bottle when my legs can't stop spinning. On a road bike/SS it's fine because you can coast, but on a fixed I think it can pose an issue if my leg were to hit my arm. It's easier/less of a problem to reach behind + now I have two holders instead of one which will be good for those hot days ;)

Yep, Juicy 3s.

barba 04-12-08 07:20 PM

I'm not sure why you would need three weight weenie single speed projects. Nice bikes, though.

The guys created an individual thread for each of those bikes, complete with photos of the bikes on the scale. If you look at the thread, on the TCR, he is even using a carbon cassette cog. So I believe him.

Jamis is making some really nicely outfitted bikes. They are a very undervalued brand.
